Well, what a day.The rain stayed away and plenty of football was played.🏐🏐

On behalf of myself and Martins friends and former teammates we want to thank Ramor United for facilitating the tournament and all the visiting clubs and coaches. Thanks to the Referees Ray, Eoin, Ciarán and Nancy(Martins sis in law). Thanks to the pitch coordinators Niall, Paddy, Anthony and Áine and all the ladies who did the teas/coffees and all parents who provided sandwiches etc Thanks to Fresh Today for the bananas and oranges for the players. Thanks to all Martins friends who sponsored the Cup, Shield and medals.

It was an emotional day for all and thanks to the Hopkins and Courtney families for attending and presenting to the winners.We hope it made them proud of their respective family members.

On the pitch Denn Gfc defeated Carnaross Gfc in the Cup Final and Lavey GAA defeated Kingscourt Stars Gaa in the Shield Final. Thanks again to Philomena Sheils as always capturing the day on her camera. Keep an eye on the page over the next day for photos
