Féile Peile na nÓg

Jerseys are been washed, water bottles emptied, cones put away after a brilliant weekend for Football. GAA is the greatest amateur sport in the world but it would cease to exist if it didn't have volunteers. Thanks to our Féile Co-Ordinator Louise Kavanagh for her huge commitment to ensuring the weekend ran smoothly and also for her knowledge of the rules 😉

Thanks to all the host families who housed the Mungret/St Pauls Gaa Club players over the weekend, their mentors and bus driver.

Thanks to Philomena Sheils for her continued professionalism with her camera, capturing some brilliant action shots

Thanks to PJ Brady for his culinary skills with the BBQ,'twas a long day for him. He's available for parties at a reasonable rate.

Thanks to all the helpers in the kitchen and Grainne in the shop who tended to the Irish persons love of tea and to parents who provided buns, sandwiches and the pavlova that barely had a chance to settle.

To Vincent Brady aided by Killian Morgan quietly behind the scenes always ensuring the pitches are in tip top shape (I twice overheard people commenting on the facilities and how it looked).

To all those who helped with car parking,Colm Murphy pitch Co-Ordinator,those who organised umpires and linesmen and the guys themselves.

To the Mungret St Pauls players, mentors and families. We hope you enjoyed your visit to Virginia and have brought away memories for life.

To the Ramor supporters who came out in numbers to support the boys. To Ogie, Tony, Danny, Frank and Stephen for preparing the boys.In 20 years time them boys will still remember it

Thanks to Ogie Farrelly and Karen Brady for their continued efforts in the running of the club.Such was the huge undertaking involved Ogie had a holiday before Féile to conserve his energy.Always thinking of the club
